The Elementary/Middle School will be holding a December to Remember from Monday, December 11th, to Friday, December 15th. Here are the days and themes:Monday, December 11th - Wear all of your red and green!

Tigers Supporting Tusky Valley
The entire Newton Falls Exempted Village School District was devastated by the recent tragedy that befell the Tuscarawas Valley High School. Many were looking for ways to help. If you are interested in donating to help those affected, you can donate in two ways:There is a benefit fund set up through First Federal Community Banks. Make checks payable to TVSTRONG and deliver them to First Federal Bank Locations.
There is also the Trojan Foundation, a non-profit with the mission to enhance educational opportunities for Tusky Valley students during their time in the school system and to promote post-secondary opportunities through scholarships. You can donate to the Trojan Foundation at this link.
Senior Yearbook Pictures

Girls Basketball Fundraiser
We're raising money to support Newton Falls Tigers Girls Basketball 2023. Any donation amount helps us reach our fundraising goal and has a major impact on our program!Our youth basketball teams participate in leagues and tournaments at no cost to the players. Each summer, we host a youth camp where we purchase balls and prizes for all participating. We must buy equipment for our youth teams and uniforms for all Junior High and High School Teams.
You can also support us by sharing our fundraiser with your own network of friends and family.

JHHS Holiday Concert
The Newton Falls Junior High and High School Music Department will present a holiday concert on Wednesday, December 20th. This concert will feature all band and choir students in grades 6-12. Participating students should arrive no later than 6:00 PM and the concert will begin at 6:30 PM in the auditorium.2023 Newton Falls Public Library Chess Tournament
Any chess players from ages 8-17 who may be interested in participating in the upcoming 2023 Newton Falls Public Library Chess Tournament can sign up, by filling out the Google Form at this link. The tournament will be held at the Newton Falls Public Library, which is located at 2664 S Canal St., Newton Falls, OH 44444, on Friday, December 22nd, starting at 10:00 AM. The tournament will be formatted as a single-bracket tournament with awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall!If you have any questions, feel free to call the Newton Falls Public Library at 330-872-1282. NHS Pasta Fundraiser
The Newton Falls chapter of the National Honor Society is excited to be partnering with Fun Pasta Fundraising to help us with our philanthropy efforts throughout the year! Shop now and order some creative, delicious pasta goodies. It's simple, and you'll love the selection. Each purchase earns 35-40% profit for our group and helps support our fundraising effort– so thank you!Your order will be shipped from Nashville, TN within 3-5 days. The minimum order is $20. FREE Shipping on all orders over $65.00 and we earn 40%! If your order is under $65, there is a flat shipping rate of $8.95. Orders are due by Friday, December 29th.

Jostens Cap and Gown Orders
Seniors, don't forget to order your cap and gown for $42. Orders can be placed by contacting Jostens by phone at 330-877-4700, by mail at PO Box 452 Uniontown, OH 44685, or online at Jostens.com.Walk Warm Program
The Walk Warm Program at the Elementary/Middle School will run through Friday, May 17th, from 4:00-6:00 PM, when school is open.Participants are NOT permitted in the building until 4:00 PM due to student dismissal . If you arrive before 4:00 PM, please remain in your vehicle until that time.
The program is open to all Newton Falls residents. Individuals under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Sign-in is required.
Dates that building will be closed include Friday, December 22nd through Tuesday, January 2nd; Monday, January 15th; Friday, February 16th through Monday, February 19th; Monday, March 25th through Monday, April 1st; and Monday, April 8th.
High School Tutoring
After school tutoring is being offered every Tuesday until 4:00 PM for any High School student in need of academic assistance. Tutoring can take place in person or via Zoom. Sign up in Room 103 with Dr. Haxhiu, our new staff member in the Junior High. All High School students who need extra academic help are encouraged to attend!You can request your tutoring spot at this link.
Previous Yearbooks Limited Supply On Sale
Attention any student who did not purchase the 2020-2021, 2021-2022, or 2022-2023 yearbooks! There are a limited amount of extra yearbooks from these school years for purchase. They are sold on a first come, first served basis.The 2020-2021 yearbook costs $20.00. The 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 yearbooks costs $60.00. Please only come to purchase it if you have your money available. We accept cash or a check made out to Newton Falls High School. They are available in Mrs. Reynolds's room in the High School, 319. In Case Of Emergency
In case of emergencies such as school closings, bus delays, or upcoming events, the district will use its computerized telephone notification system to inform parents. It is extremely important that parents verify their emergency telephone numbers with each building secretary.
