Dear Tiger Families,

As we plan for the upcoming 2023 - 2024 school year, the transportation department needs to update the student rider membership information. We are providing every student riding the bus a copy of the transportation request form for the 2023 - 2024 school year.

Please complete the paper copy and have your child return it to their bus driver (one copy per household) or go online to the transportation page of the website and click on the request link.

If you do not have a child riding this year and you will need transportation next year, you can fill out the request online or you can call the transportation department directly at (330) 872-7295.

Thank you for your cooperation,

John Crowder

2023-2024 JHHS Remote Learning Enrollment

Dear Parent/Guardian,

As we approach the end of the current school year, I wanted to take this opportunity to share an important reminder regarding our plans for remote learning for the 23-24 school year. At the conclusion of this current school year, all remote students will be transferred back to in-person learning.

If you wish for your child to continue remote learning for the 23-24 school year, we have established a process to evaluate and accommodate these requests on a case-by-case basis. To be considered for remote learning, you will need to complete the enclosed application form and submit it to the school office by Monday, August 14th, 2023. Please note that approval for remote learning is contingent upon several factors, including the student's academic progress and previous demonstration of success with remote learning. Participation in remote learning during the 22-23 school year does not guarantee approval for the 23-24 school year.

We understand that there may be various reasons why some families may prefer to continue with remote learning, and we respect your choices. However, it is important to emphasize that we firmly believe in the immense benefits of in-person education and its positive impact on students' overall development.

I encourage you to reach out to our school office if you have any questions or concerns regarding the application process for remote learning for the 23-24 school year. We are here to support you and provide any necessary assistance throughout this process.

Thank you for your continued partnership and trust in our school. We look forward to an exciting year ahead, filled with academic achievements, personal growth, and shared experiences.

Wishing you and your family a wonderful summer break!

Sincerely,
Rachael M. Rankin Rachael M. Rankin, M.S. Ed., Ed. S.

In Case Of Emergency

In case of emergencies such as school closings, bus delays, or upcoming events, the district will use its computerized telephone notification system to inform parents.
